It’s Friday evening and nothing is better than a dinner with friends; there are two options: an expensive evening at the restaurant or a funny and tasty dinner at home, and with our great cooking skills we decided to choose the second option. Since it was our first cooking experience together, me and Mzika decided the menu had to be easy:

APPETIZER
Italian salumi and parmigiano

FIRST COURSE
Arajani risotto (had to be with Mascarpone, but couldn’t find it here)

SECOND COURSE
Jacket potatoes and potato pizza

When guests came, risotto was still under costruction: it was really so great that anyone was talking about it the whole evening and they didn’t even dare to eat it, because it would have been a pity to finish it! Well, actually next time some spaghetti with tomato sauce and parmigiano would be the best choice.

Jacked potatoes were actually not jacked, but prepared in a totally different way, an indeation by the always-improoving chef Mzika: they were tasty and saved our evening from the desolation. Last dish: potato pizza! For anyone who is wondering what a potato pizza is, let’s search on google: if you find an answer, please let us know! Actually, the idea was to make with potatoes something round that looked like the base of the pizza and to add tomato and mozzarella over it. Result was little different, but we enjoyed anyway.

What else? Well, guests brang some sweets, that were delicious since we didn’t make them (well, me especially). Really nice evening, thanks to anyone who joined! Next time we’ll book a table in a nice restaurant!
